The UPS\'s alarms went off and it  kepted cycling to internal backup batteries and the red light on the Power Bright PW1100-12 went on. So I quit that and just plugged a full size floor mounted Intel 3GHz computer with a 17 CRT into the PW1100 through a non-battery Belken surge protector and the computer, CRT, printer and FAX machine all worked. The display indicated that 290 Watts were being drawn during extended disk accesses. The PW1100 was connecter to a $70 Marine battery from Pep Boys. The whole outfit is going into a trailer because I have an extra computer and laptops get stolen - this one will stay put, and is all super cheap.");
